I am a video essayist and painter based in Chicago, IL. My work addresses contemporary neurosis through a mix of humor, care, and speculative fiction. Keen to produce multiple ways of combining writing with image, I experiment with a variety of mediums (illustration, moving image, published text) to carry meaning. Found materials play a frequent role in my practice. I learn from the play within unexpected collage both formally and conceptually.





Ecological concerns and media studies inform my research paths as I latch onto simple motifs and attempt to exhaust their associations. Most recently, my research has orbited representations and resonances of the screaming human face.
